Stat. § 45:11-59","heading":"Duties, responsibilities of board.","body":"7.\tThe board shall:\na.\tReview the qualifications of applicants for licensure;\nb.\tInsure the proper conduct and standards of examinations;\nc.\tIssue and renew licenses to massage and bodywork therapists pursuant to P.L.1999, c.19 (C.45:11-53 et seq.) and P.L.2007, c.337 (C.45:11-68 et al.);\nd.\tSuspend, revoke or fail to renew the license of a massage and bodywork therapist pursuant to the provisions of P.L.1978, c.73 (C.45:1-14 et seq.);\ne.\tEstablish any standards for the continuing education of licensees as it deems necessary;\nf.\tPrescribe or change the charges for examinations, licensures, renewals and other services performed pursuant to P.L.1974, c.46 (C.45:1-3.1 et seq.); and\ng.\tMaintain a record of every massage and bodywork therapist licensed in this State, and the date and number of his license, and publish a list of the names and addresses of all licensees annually.\nL.1999, c.19, s.7; amended 2007, c.337, s.5.","path":["TITLE 45 PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"b545bf686e58dd2b6c465b580164c82886faf4fcb4e8505ef5d37138e8c3a573","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-45-11-55","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-45-11-60"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
