Every business engaged in providing tree expert or tree care operator services shall register biennially with the board as a condition of doing business in this State and shall provide the following information:\na.\tThe name and residence of the owner or owners of the tree care business;\nb.\tThe principal address of the tree care business, and any branch office or subsidiary of the business;\nc.\tThe names and addresses of every licensed tree expert or licensed tree care operator employed by the business and the location of each such licensee, if at a branch office other than the business' main office;\nd.\tProof of general liability insurance or a letter of credit of a type and amount required by the board by regulation;\ne.\tProof of workers' compensation insurance coverage required pursuant to chapter 15 of Title 34 of the Revised Statutes;\nf.\tProof that at least one employee of the tree care business, located at the principal office of the tree care business shall be licensed either as a tree expert or tree care operator, and at least one employee of the tree care business, located at each branch office of the tree care business shall be licensed either as a tree expert or tree care operator; and\ng.\tAny other information required by the board.\nL.2009, c.237, s.12.","path":["TITLE 45 PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"f3fe9dc66a0954716de12800de91ef071c9ec5cd035387f079fea4df65359a71","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-45-15c-21","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-45-15c-23"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
