Stat. § 45:5A-41","heading":"Powers of board or committee","body":"3.\tThe board, or the committee by the board's delegation, shall have the power to:\na.\tset standards and approve licenses for applicants for a pool and spa service contractor or pool and spa builder and installer license and issue a license to each qualified applicant;\nb.\tdetermine the form and contents of applications for licensure, licenses and identification cards;\nc.\tadopt a code of ethics for licensees;\nd.\tissue and renew licenses and identification cards;\ne.\tset the amount of fees for pool and spa service contractors and pool and spa builders and installers licenses, license renewals, applications, examinations, and other services provided by the board and the committee within the limits provided in subsection b. of section 8 of this act;\nf.\trefuse to issue or suspend, revoke, or fail to renew the license of a licensee pursuant to the provisions of P.L.1978, c.73 (C.45:1-14 et seq.);\ng.\tmaintain a record of all applicants for a license;\nh.\tmaintain and annually publish a record of every licensee, his place of business, place of residence and the date and number of his license;\ni.\ttake disciplinary action in accordance with P.L.1978, c.73 (C.45:1-14 et seq.) against a licensee or employee who violates any provision of this act or any rule or regulation promulgated pursuant to this act;\nj.\tadopt standards and requirements for and approve continuing education programs and courses of study for licensees and their employees;\nk.\treview advertising by licensees; and\nl.\tperform other duties as may be necessary to effectuate the purposes of this act.\nL.2019, c.22, s.3.","path":["TITLE 45 PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"4b9ebb3379ba5284ac94d5003d06ed43099364c1aea37c74938ce2ede67f9561","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-45-5a-40","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-45-5a-42"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
