An individual applying for a chair or booth rental license shall:\n(1) Make application to the board on forms as it may require; and\n(2) Pay a fee as required by the board.\nb.\tThe board shall promulgate rules and regulations relating to the information to be submitted for a chair or booth rental license, including information regarding an applicant's compliance with State and federal tax laws, and the board shall issue a booth rental permit, to any person who holds a license, certificate of registration, or permit issued by the board, upon application and compliance with the following:\n(1) submission of a copy of the written agreement required by section 4 of P.L.2023, c.231 (C.45:5B-11.1);\n(2) inspection of the premises prior to the issuance of a chair or booth rental license;\n(3) payment of the booth rental permit fee and the booth rental inspection fee set forth by the board; and\n(4) receipt of an inspection report from the board indicating approval of the booth.\nc.\tA booth rental permit shall not be transferable except that when the shop changes location, a booth rental permit may be transferred by filing a new booth rental agreement and receipt of an inspection report from the board indicating approval of the booth.\nL.2023, c.231, s.5.","path":["TITLE 45 PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"1aa14eb790bf66c74eaf3e9fe5baf864504c70bdee14b112ad42c104348d276d","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-45-5b-31","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-45-5b-32"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
