Stat. § 48:15-3","heading":"Public consent to have force of contract","body":"Any consent required by this chapter to be given by any public body may be given by a resolution or ordinance of such body and shall have the force and effect of a contract when accepted by any street railway or traction company in  a writing under its corporate seal, filed with the clerk of the public body or  in the office of the clerk of the county in which such body exists.
