Stat. § 52:17B-171.3","heading":"Mental health screening for juveniles admitted to county juvenile detention facility.","body":"3.\tBetween 24 and 48 hours following admission to a county juvenile detention facility, a juvenile shall undergo mental health screening using a mental health screening tool designated by the Youth Justice Commission and in accordance with the facility's written policies required by section 1 of this act.  If the screening tool indicates that a referral for additional screening or mental health services is appropriate, that referral shall occur as soon as possible.
