Stat. § 52:18A-188","heading":"Means to accomplish duties","body":"In order to accomplish the foregoing, the administration or the department,  as the case may be, shall:\na.  Be responsible for evaluating all requests affecting the information processing facilities of the State including:\n(1) The acquisition, continuation or alteration of equipment;\n(2) The use of consulting firms in information processing studies or projects;  and\n(3) The purchase of information processing services;\nb.  Direct the assignment and reassignment of information processing tasks among the various State government information processing facilities;\nc.  Be the organization to represent the State in all intergovernmental matters relating to information processing;  and\nd.
