Stat. § 52:27H-21.22b","heading":"Application for recertification every five years; required.","body":"5.\tAfter a minority business or women's business has been recertified after first receiving initial certification, the director shall require the certified minority business or certified women's business to apply for recertification every five years.  The director may require of the applicant the documentation that is necessary to determine the applicant's eligibility for recertification, including but not limited to:\na.\tNames and addresses of the owner, partners or shareholders, as applicable, and their representative shares of ownership;\nb.\tNames and addresses of members of the board of directors, in the case of corporations;\nc.\tNames and addresses of the officers of the business;\nd.\tNames and addresses of capital investors;\ne.\tNumber of shares of stock issued and outstanding, in the case of a corporation;\nf.\tArticles of incorporation, bylaws, partnership agreements, or joint venture agreements, as applicable;\ng.\t(Deleted by amendment, P.L.2023, c.217)\nh.\tThe affiliation of the business or any of its owners, officers or directors with any other business entity;\ni.\tA representative list of prior and current clients;\nj.\tMajor real and personal property holdings of the business;\nk.\tFinancial statements and balance sheets;\nl.\tBanking institutions with which the business is affiliated; and\nm.\tOrganizational charts;\nn.\tAn applicant's certificate of birth and motor vehicle driver's license;\no.\tPersonal or corporate federal or State income tax returns;\np.\tAn affidavit certifying that the applicant is a minority business or women's business, as defined in section 2 of P.L.1986, c.195 (C.52:27H-21.18); and\nq.\tAny other information the director deems necessary to effectuate the purposes of this act.\nL.2003,c.189,c.5; amended 2023, c.217, s.2.","path":["TITLE 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"97f5ce45f4da30944ccbc718d07b09d50a2bbb9fbafcfb51610104fac97a5934","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-52-27h-21.22a","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-52-27h-21.22c"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
