Stat. § 52:35-9","heading":"False statements in questionnaire or at hearing;  misdemeanor","body":"Any person who makes, or causes to be made, a false, deceptive or fraudulent  statement in the questionnaire required to be submitted, or in the course of  any hearing under this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon  conviction shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than one hundred  dollars nor more than one thousand dollars and shall be permanently disqualified from bidding on all public work of the state; or, in the case of an individual or the officer or employee charged with the duty of making such questionnaire for a person, firm, copartnership, association or corporation, to  pay such fine or undergo imprisonment, not exceeding six months, or both.","path":["TITLE 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"cd4999af53bb9697a33b4c03be07d1a9159a31c405915a7e1d74587dbcd448a9","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-52-35-8","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-52-35-10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
