Stat. § 58:10-23.11d5","heading":"Retention of evidence of financial responsibility of cleanups.","body":"The owner or operator of a major facility or transmission pipeline shall, at all times, retain on file with the department evidence of financial responsibility for cleaning up and removing a discharge or release of a hazardous substance, and for the removal of any abandoned structure owned or operated, as the case may be, by the owner or operator of a major facility or transmission pipeline.  The amount, nature, terms, and conditions of the financial responsibility shall be determined by the department.
