Stat. § 58:10B-24.6","heading":"Definitions relative to procedures concerning soil contamination on school property.","body":"1.\tAs used in this act:\n\"Charter school\" means a school established pursuant to P.L.1995, c.426 (C.18A:36A-1 et seq.).\n\"Contamination\" means any discharged hazardous substance as defined pursuant to section 3 of P.L.1976, c.141 (C.58:10-23.11b), hazardous waste as defined pursuant to section 1 of P.L.1976, c.99 (C.13:1E-38), or pollutant as defined pursuant to section 3 of P.L.1977, c.74 (C.58:10A-3).\n\"Licensed site remediation professional\" means an individual who is licensed by the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board pursuant to section 7 of P.L.2009, c.60 (C.58:10C-7) or the Department of Environmental Protection pursuant to section 12 of P.L.2009, c.60 (C.58:10C-12).\n\"School\" means any public or private school as defined in N.J.S.18A:1-1.\n\"School property\" means any area inside and outside of the school buildings controlled, managed, leased, or owned by the school or school district.\n\"Staff member\" means an employee of a school or school district, including administrators, teachers, and other persons regularly employed by a school or school district.\nL.2009, c.175, s.1.","path":["TITLE 58 WATERS AND WATER SUPPLY"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"95acaecf94e2fe556ce030f933eca742bb4946ba2464345c906cb879df12caef","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-58-10b-24.5","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-58-10b-24.7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
