Stat. § 58:10C-5","heading":"Powers, duties of board.","body":"5.\tThe board shall have the following powers and duties:\na.\tTo review and approve or deny applications for licensing site remediation professionals;\nb.\tTo administer and evaluate licensing examinations for site remediation professionals;\nc.\tTo issues licenses and license renewals to all qualifying site remediation professionals;\nd.\tTo establish standards and requirements for continuing education of licensed site remediation professionals;\ne.\tTo approve or offer continuing education courses;\nf.\tTo track fulfillment of continuing education requirements by licensed site remediation professionals;\ng.\tTo establish and collect fees for examinations, licenses, renewals, or any other services required for the licensing of site remediation professionals;\nh.\tTo adopt and administer standards for professional conduct for licensed site remediation professionals, as provided in sections 14 and 16 of P.L.2009, c.60 (C.58:10C-14 and C.58:10C-16);\ni.\tTo investigate complaints, impose discipline, and suspend and revoke licenses of site remediation professionals who violate the provisions of P.L.2009, c.60 (C.58:10C-1 et al.);\nj.\tTo publish and maintain the names and contact information of all site remediation professionals licensed pursuant to P.L.2009, c.60 (C.58:10C-1 et al.), and make the list available on the board's internet website;\nk.\tTo publish and maintain a list of all site remediation professionals whose license has been suspended or revoked by the board and make the list available on the board's internet website;\nl.\tTo provide public information on the licensed site remediation professional program; and\nm.\tTo maintain a record of complaints filed against licensed site remediation professionals and provide the public with information upon request.\nL.2009, c.60, s.5.","path":["TITLE 58 WATERS AND WATER SUPPLY"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"0c3cf987f780b9a7ab2cf68831a1585f5d30a7eb83a78deabcd57eff3ec46d5b","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-58-10c-4","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-58-10c-6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
