{"data":{"id":"us-nm/13-4-9","jurisdiction":"us-nm","citation":"13-4-9","heading":"[Penalty.]","body":"Any person, firm, association or corporation distributing lumber in the state of New Mexico after June 30, 1939, for any of the purposes hereinbefore set forth in this act [13-4-6, 13-4-7, 13-4-9 NMSA 1978] or any contractor in this state using lumber for any of said purposes who shall deliberately violate any of the provisions of this act shall, upon conviction, be subject to a penalty of not less than two hundred dollars ($200.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or imprisonment in the county jail for not less than thirty (30) nor more than ninety (90) days for each violation hereunder; provided, that in the case of a violation by a firm, association or corporation, the jail sentence, if one is imposed, shall be upon the officer, agent or person of such firm, association or corporation responsible for such violation.","path":["Chapter 13 - Public Purchases and Property","ARTICLE 4 Public Works Contracts"],"source_url":"https://nmonesource.com/nmos/nmsa-unanno/en/item/18513/index.do","current_through":"2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T15:02:19Z","sha256":"91e865e17ae9e0180091d841f4831dadaa10f9f1519c994fbf1e14b05b642c1c","source_id":"us-nm","stale":false,"prev":"us-nm/13-4-8","next":"us-nm/13-4-10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
