Records maintained in the office of the county clerk are available to be searched without charge during regular business hours.\nB. County clerks:\n(1) may charge reasonable fees for conducting searches and for reproducing or permitting reproduction of their records as well as for certifying documents;\n(2) shall not charge fees in excess of one dollar ($1.00) per page for documents eleven inches by seventeen inches in size or smaller;\n(3) may require advance payment of fees before making copies of public records;\n(4) shall not charge a fee for the cost of determining whether any public record is subject to disclosure; and\n(5) shall provide a receipt, upon request.\nC.
