{"data":{"id":"us-nm/2-12-5","jurisdiction":"us-nm","citation":"2-12-5","heading":"Mortgage Finance Authority Act oversight committee; powers and duties.","body":"The Mortgage Finance Authority Act oversight committee created by the provisions of Subsection W of Section 58-18-5 NMSA 1978 shall have the power to:\nA. determine and monitor the actual distribution of funds derived by the authority from bond issues and other activities of the authority under the provisions of the Mortgage Finance Authority Act [Chapter 58, Article 18 NMSA 1978], both on a geographical basis and on the basis of the actual distribution to participants in its programs;\nB. monitor the authority in its control of the issuance of mortgage commitments;\nC. meet on a regular basis to receive and evaluate periodic reports from the authority as to its enforcement of the provisions of the Mortgage Finance Authority Act and the regulations adopted pursuant thereto; and\nD. require the authority to document the need to the oversight committee regarding the issuance of any bonds.","path":["Chapter 2 - Legislative Branch","ARTICLE 12 Oversight Committees"],"source_url":"https://nmonesource.com/nmos/nmsa-unanno/en/item/18503/index.do","current_through":"2023-06-16","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T15:02:19Z","sha256":"b179453785c0707d663783dc93fdbbc704843a26d40746e2f48727babf60c7d6","source_id":"us-nm","stale":false,"prev":"us-nm/2-12-1","next":"us-nm/2-12-6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
