{"data":{"id":"us-nm/24a-3-3","jurisdiction":"us-nm","citation":"24A-3-3","heading":"Incarcerated persons; behavioral health services; county funding program.","body":"To carry out the provisions of Subsection E of Section 9-8-7.1 NMSA 1978 and to provide behavioral health services to persons who are incarcerated in a county correctional facility:\nA. the secretary shall adopt and promulgate rules:\n(1) pursuant to which a county may apply for and be awarded funding through the authority; and\n(2) to establish priorities and guidelines for the award of funding to counties; and\nB. the authority shall distribute funds, as funding permits, to the county health care assistance funds of those counties:\n(1) that apply for behavioral health services funding in accordance with authority rules; and\n(2) whose proposed utilization of funding pursuant to this section meets the priorities and guidelines for the awarding of behavioral health services funding established in authority rules.","path":["Chapter 24A - Health Care Code","ARTICLE 3 Interagency Behavioral Health Purchasing"],"source_url":"https://nmonesource.com/nmos/nmsa-unanno/en/item/18974/index.do","current_through":"2026-05-20","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T15:02:19Z","sha256":"a51d727c13ab8a46885e9b414f4c3b7b91d4f00748ab690fcb4ee3d836bef0eb","source_id":"us-nm","stale":false,"prev":"us-nm/24a-3-2","next":"us-nm/24a-3-4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
