{"data":{"id":"us-nm/3-29-20.1","jurisdiction":"us-nm","citation":"3-29-20.1","heading":"Merger of two or more associations into one association.","body":"Upon approval by vote of a majority of a quorum of each membership, two or more associations may merge into one association pursuant to a plan of merger approved in the manner provided by this section. The board of directors of each association shall, by resolution adopted by each board, approve a plan of merger setting forth:\nA. the names of the associations proposing to merge, and the association into which they propose to merge, which is hereinafter designated as the \"surviving association\";\nB. the terms and conditions of the proposed merger, including transfer of assets and liabilities;\nC. the manner and basis of converting each association's obligations or other securities into the surviving association;\nD. a statement of any changes in the certificate of association of the surviving association to be affected by the merger; and\nE. other provisions with respect to the proposed merger as deemed necessary or desirable.","path":["Chapter 3 - Municipalities","ARTICLE 29 Sanitary Projects"],"source_url":"https://nmonesource.com/nmos/nmsa-unanno/en/item/18504/index.do","current_through":"2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T15:02:19Z","sha256":"6bf59f9a1ccdabe3f5459753be0b253bbc8f3b8362ffb053fd79fa8f65203be6","source_id":"us-nm","stale":false,"prev":"us-nm/3-29-20","next":"us-nm/3-29-21"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
