A proceeding to rescind an acknowledgment of paternity or a denial of paternity shall be brought no later than the earlier of:\nA. sixty days after the effective date of the acknowledgment or denial, as provided in Section 3-304 of the New Mexico Uniform Parentage Act;\nB. in the case of a signatory who was a minor at the time of acknowledgment, the later of:\n(1) sixty days after the eighteenth birthday of the signatory; or\n(2) sixty days after the effective date of the acknowledgment or denial, as provided in Section 3-304 of the New Mexico Uniform Parentage Act; or\nC. the date of the first hearing, in a proceeding to which the signatory is a party, before a court to adjudicate an issue relating to the child, including a proceeding that establishes support.","path":["Chapter 40 - Domestic Affairs","ARTICLE 11A New Mexico Uniform Parentage Act"],"source_url":"https://nmonesource.com/nmos/nmsa-unanno/en/item/18540/index.do","current_through":"2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T15:02:19Z","sha256":"e688a2ea5c81d0ae31f13d654661be99dc46a4fe8300e8ae47f21136d6c746df","source_id":"us-nm","stale":false,"prev":"us-nm/40-11a-306","next":"us-nm/40-11a-308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
