(Repealed effective July 1, 2028.)","body":"A bilingual-multicultural endorsement shall be issued to any person who:\nA. files a completed application, accompanied by the required fees and documentation; certifies that the applicant is not guilty of any of the activities listed in Section 61-14B-21 NMSA 1978; and submits satisfactory evidence that the applicant:\n(1) is eligible for and in the process of obtaining a license to practice as a speech-language pathologist;\n(2) has completed the required education as determined by rule;\n(3) has met experience requirements approved by the board; and\n(4) has demonstrated proficiency in the specified language as determined by the board; or\nB. files a completed application accompanied by the required fees and documentation; certifies that the applicant is not guilty of any of the activities listed in Section 61-14B-21 NMSA 1978; and submits satisfactory evidence that the applicant:\n(1) has an active license in good standing in the state of New Mexico as a speech-language pathologist;\n(2) has a current bilingual endorsement from the public education department; or\n(3) has a minimum of five years practicing with clients who utilize a language other than English and has demonstrated proficiency in the specified language as determined by the board; or\nC. files a completed application, accompanied by the required fees and documentation; certifies that the applicant is not guilty of any of the activities listed in Section 61-14B-21 NMSA 1978; and submits satisfactory evidence that the applicant:\n(1) has a license in good standing in another state or country as a speech-language pathologist;\n(2) has a minimum of five years practicing with clients who utilize a language other than English; and\n(3) has demonstrated proficiency in the specified language as determined by the board.","path":["Chapter 61 - Professional and Occupational Licenses","ARTICLE 14B Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Practices"],"source_url":"https://nmonesource.com/nmos/nmsa-unanno/en/item/18564/index.do","current_through":"2026-05-20","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T15:02:20Z","sha256":"d1352ff47fe78dadab94e256140c351943ffe4911428fde731797422e49da000","source_id":"us-nm","stale":false,"prev":"us-nm/61-14b-13","next":"us-nm/61-14b-14"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
