(Repealed effective July 1, 2028.)","body":"The department shall assist the board in administering the Athletic Trainer Practice Act and shall:\nA. process applications and conduct and review the required examinations;\nB. issue licenses and provisional permits to applicants who meet the requirements of the Athletic Trainer Practice Act;\nC. administer and coordinate the provisions of the Athletic Trainer Practice Act and investigate persons engaging in practices that may violate the provisions of that act;\nD. conduct any required examinations of applicants;\nE. hire staff as may be necessary to carry out the actions of the board;\nF. maintain board records, including financial records; and\nG. maintain a current register of licensees as a matter of public record.","path":["Chapter 61 - Professional and Occupational Licenses","ARTICLE 14D Athletic Trainer Practice"],"source_url":"https://nmonesource.com/nmos/nmsa-unanno/en/item/18564/index.do","current_through":"2026-05-20","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T15:02:20Z","sha256":"0ff60d783f0d84bc7a6c820e42cba213a15676abb101cf5831902231f1e680a2","source_id":"us-nm","stale":false,"prev":"us-nm/61-14d-7","next":"us-nm/61-14d-9"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
