(Repealed effective July 1, 2030.)","body":"A person who commits any of the following acts is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) or more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or by imprisonment of less than one year, or both:\nA. violation of any provision of the Funeral Services Act;\nB. rendering or offering to render funeral services, direct disposition services or cremation services without a current valid license issued pursuant to the Funeral Services Act; or\nC. advertising or using any designation, diploma or certificate tending to imply that the person is a practitioner of funeral services, direct disposition services or cremation services without a current valid license issued pursuant to the Funeral Services Act.","path":["Chapter 61 - Professional and Occupational Licenses","ARTICLE 32 Funeral Services"],"source_url":"https://nmonesource.com/nmos/nmsa-unanno/en/item/18564/index.do","current_through":"2026-05-20","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T15:02:20Z","sha256":"6e743e97ed50cc21d81e5077e688156bea5ae73d6f7709a028e884797429a92f","source_id":"us-nm","stale":false,"prev":"us-nm/61-32-29","next":"us-nm/61-32-30.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
