(Repealed effective July 1, 2028.)","body":"The board shall issue a license as a professional clinical mental health counselor to any person who files a completed application accompanied by the required fees within the July 1, 2005 through July 1, 2007 period and who submits satisfactory evidence that the applicant:\nA. has reached the age of twenty-one;\nB. holds a current professional mental health counselor license;\nC. holds a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution;\nD. demonstrates professional competency by satisfactorily passing the required examinations as prescribed by the board;\nE. has a minimum of three thousand hours of client contact experience, including at least one hundred hours of face-to-face supervision or a minimum of ten thousand hours of client contact experience, including at least two hundred hours of face-to-face supervision; and\nF. is of good moral character with conduct consistent with the code of ethics.","path":["Chapter 61 - Professional and Occupational Licenses","ARTICLE 9A Counseling and Therapy"],"source_url":"https://nmonesource.com/nmos/nmsa-unanno/en/item/18564/index.do","current_through":"2026-05-20","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T15:02:20Z","sha256":"ac5fc15b65862fb4ba92d0998c8aacec24c3e2f7e8493ecb65754f4ce5f6958d","source_id":"us-nm","stale":false,"prev":"us-nm/61-9a-11","next":"us-nm/61-9a-11.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
