The Fort Stanton development commission shall:\n(1) plan, assemble, dispose of and acquire furnishings, art, landscaping materials and plants and other decorations for the public areas of Fort Stanton;\n(2) monitor and report on the status of maintenance of Fort Stanton and recommend to the legislature actions necessary to repair, maintain and renovate the grounds and improvements; and\n(3) develop statewide interest in Fort Stanton and develop a comprehensive plan for the most appropriate and beneficial use of Fort Stanton.\nB. The commission may:\n(1) utilize the assistance of individuals, the office of cultural affairs, other state agencies and nonprofit charitable corporations in carrying out its duties;\n(2) accept on behalf of the state from any private or other public sources money, gifts, donations and bequests for use by the commission in carrying out its duties; and\n(3) enter into public promotions of its endeavors and publish such materials as it deems appropriate to promote the purposes of the commission.","path":["Chapter 9 - Executive Department","ARTICLE 6 Department of Finance and Administration"],"source_url":"https://nmonesource.com/nmos/nmsa-unanno/en/item/18509/index.do","current_through":"2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T15:02:19Z","sha256":"6a2a2d3d05a44ffbf53b27bef72b6e0a1a59300be3b98e441abcf88dcb608d13","source_id":"us-nm","stale":false,"prev":"us-nm/9-6-12","next":"us-nm/9-6-14"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
