If the court finds that the proposed protected minor is not in need of a guardian, the court shall dismiss the petition.\n2. If the court finds that appointment of a guardian is required, the court shall appoint a guardian of the proposed protected minor’s person, estate, or person and estate.\n3. The court shall not find that a proposed protected minor is in need of a guardian solely because the person currently responsible for the proposed protected minor:\n(a) Is deaf, is blind or has another physical disability; or\n(b) Is the holder of a valid registry identification card.\n4.
