[Effective July 1, 2026.]","body":"1. If the court determines that a minor may be in need of a guardian, the court may order the appointment of a judicial officer or a special judicial officer from among the members of the State Bar of Nevada to conduct a hearing to identify the person most qualified and suitable to serve as guardian for the proposed protected minor.\n2. Not later than 5 calendar days after the date of the hearing, the judicial officer or special judicial officer shall prepare and submit to the court a recommendation regarding which person is most qualified and suitable to serve as guardian for the proposed protected minor.\n3.
