Any person who commits a gross misdemeanor on the property of a public or private school, at an activity sponsored by a public or private school, or on a school bus or at a bus stop used to load and unload a school bus while the bus is engaged in its official duties:\n(a) Shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for not fewer than 15 days but not more than 364 days; and\n(b) In addition to imprisonment, may be punished by a fine of not more than $2,000.\n2.
