Treason against the people of the State consists in:\n(a) Levying war against the people of the State;\n(b) Adhering to its enemies; or\n(c) Giving them aid and comfort.\n2. Treason is a category B felony and is punishable by imprisonment in the state prison for a minimum term of not less than 2 years and a maximum term of not more than 10 years.\n3.
