As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, “document” means a written instrument, paper, notice, deed, conveyance, map, chart, survey or any other writing, without regard to:\n(a) The form in which the document is received by a county recorder;\n(b) The method used to transmit the document to a county recorder; or\n(c) The method used by a county recorder to store, access or retrieve the document.\n2.
