Except as otherwise provided in NRS 281.230, 281A.430 and 332.800, it is unlawful for any town officer, directly or indirectly, to be interested in any contract made by the town officer or to be a purchaser or interested in any purchase under a sale made by the town officer in the discharge of his or her official duties.\n2.
