The period for early voting by personal appearance begins the third Saturday preceding a primary city election or general city election, and extends through the Friday before election day, Sundays and federal holidays excepted.\n2. The city clerk may:\n(a) Include any Sunday or federal holiday that falls within the period for early voting by personal appearance.\n(b) Require a permanent polling place for early voting to remain open until 8 p.m. on any Saturday that falls within the period for early voting.\n3.
