The notices required by NRS 315.041 must be served in any manner required by federal law or regulation concerning the eviction of the tenant from those premises, or as a condition to the receipt of federal money, or, in the absence of such a requirement, the notice may be served:\n(a) By delivering a copy to the tenant personally, in the presence of a witness; or\n(b) If the tenant cannot be found with reasonable diligence, by leaving a copy with a person of suitable age and discretion at the premises or the tenant’s usual place of business, mailing a copy to the tenant at the premises or the tenant’s usual place of business, and posting a copy in a conspicuous place on the premises.\n2. Before an order to remove a tenant is issued pursuant to NRS 315.041, a housing authority or a landlord must file with the court a proof of service of any notice required by that section.
