[Effective July 1, 2026.]","body":"1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 4, in an action to issue, dissolve, convert, modify, register or enforce a temporary or extended order pursuant to NRS 33.017 to 33.100, inclusive, the court may appoint:\n(a) A master to take testimony and recommend orders if the temporary or extended order was sought by a person who is at least 18 years of age; or\n(b) A judicial officer to take testimony and recommend orders, if the temporary or extended order was sought by a person who is less than 18 years of age.\n2. The master or judicial officer must be an attorney licensed to practice in this State.\n3. The master or judicial officer shall:\n(a) Take testimony and establish a record; and\n(b) Make findings of fact, conclusions of law and recommendations concerning a temporary or extended order.\n4.
