Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, the Department shall, upon receipt of:\n(a) The application and bond in proper form, issue to the applicant a license as a dealer or supplier.\n(b) The application in proper form, issue to the applicant a license as an exporter or a transporter.\n2. The Department may refuse to issue a license pursuant to this section to any person:\n(a) Who formerly held a license issued pursuant to this chapter or a similar license of any other state, the District of Columbia, the United States, a territory or possession of the United States or any foreign country which, before the time of filing the application, has been revoked for cause;\n(b) Who applies as a subterfuge for the real party in interest whose license, before the time of filing the application, has been revoked for cause;\n(c) Who, if the person is a dealer or supplier, neglects or refuses to furnish a bond as required by this chapter;\n(d) Who is in default in the payment of a tax on motor vehicle fuel or fuel for jet or turbine-powered aircraft in this State, any other state, the District of Columbia, the United States, a territory or possession of the United States or any foreign country;\n(e) Who has failed to comply with any provision of this chapter; or\n(f) Upon other sufficient cause being shown.","path":["TITLE 32 — REVENUE AND TAXATION","CHAPTER 365 - TAXES ON CERTAIN FUELS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES AND AIRCRAFT","LICENSES AND BONDS"],"source_url":"https://www.leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-365.html#NRS365Sec300","current_through":"2025 session (NRS as revised 2026-08-25)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T05:51:37Z","sha256":"3a8766c548b32cb37f8da78ffc183264aa8e8207c1da6f82486d5185dcda7b05","source_id":"us-nv","stale":true,"prev":"us-nv/nrs-365.290","next":"us-nv/nrs-365.302"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
