The board of trustees of a school district, the governing body of a charter school or a nonprofit organization, in cooperation with such a board of trustees or governing body, may apply for a grant of money from the Department to develop and implement work-based learning programs pursuant to NRS 389.167 in the fields, trades or occupations prescribed by the State Board pursuant to subsection 3.\n2. The Department shall develop a process for evaluating an application submitted pursuant to subsection 1 and, within the limits of money available for such use, distribute money for the development and implementation of work-based learning programs pursuant to NRS 389.167. Grants must be used for the development and implementation of such work-based learning programs.\n3.
