A licensed teacher, except a teacher who is licensed only as a substitute teacher, must complete training in the laws of this State relating to schools and the provisions of the Nevada Constitution relating to schools within 1 year after being issued a license to teach and being initially hired by the board of trustees of a school district.\n2. The Commission shall:\n(a) Establish by regulation the required contents of the training required by subsection 1;\n(b) Establish by regulation the standard of proficiency required for a teacher to receive credit for completing the training required by subsection 1, which may include, without limitation, an examination to test the proficiency of a teacher in the laws of this State relating to schools and the provisions of the Nevada Constitution relating to schools; and\n(c) At least once each biennium, review the contents of the training required by subsection 1 and, if necessary, revise the content of the training.\n3.
