The Office of State Climatologist is hereby created.\n2. The Director of the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources shall employ as the State Climatologist a person who has received the approval of:\n(a) The National Climatic Data Center of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration;\n(b) The Western Regional Director of the National Weather Service; and\n(c) An officer of the System.\n3.
