Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, the Authority, through the Division, shall pay, under the State Plan for Medicaid:\n(a) A facility for hospice care licensed pursuant to chapter 449 of NRS for the services for hospice care, including room and board, provided by that facility to a person who is eligible to receive Medicaid.\n(b) A program for hospice care licensed pursuant to chapter 449 of NRS for the services for hospice care provided by that program to a person who is eligible to receive Medicaid.\n2. The Authority, through the Division, is required to pay, under the State Plan for Medicaid, for the services for hospice care provided by a facility or program described in subsection 1 only to the extent that the Federal Government provides matching federal money under Medicaid for the services for hospice care.\n3.
