Any reimbursement or partial reimbursement made from the Fund for unpaid charges for hospital care furnished to a person which are not greater than $3,000, is a charge upon the county in which:\n(a) The crash occurred, if the person is not a resident of this state and the crash occurred in this state; or\n(b) The person resides, if the person is a resident of this state,\nÊ and must be paid to the Fund upon a claim presented by the Board as other claims against the county are paid.\n2.
