Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, a person shall not knowingly, for valuable consideration, purchase or sell a part of a natural person for transplantation or therapy if removal of the part from the natural person is or was intended to occur after the natural person’s death.\n2. A person may charge a reasonable amount for the removal, processing, preservation, quality control, storage, transportation, implantation or disposal of a part.\n3.
