Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, it is unlawful for any person to install, maintain, relocate, improve, alter or repair an elevator within this State unless the person is certified as an elevator mechanic pursuant to NRS 455C.110.\n2. A person who violates subsection 1 is guilty of a misdemeanor.\n3.
