Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, a manufacturer is not subject to the provisions of NRS 482.36311 to 482.36425, inclusive, if the manufacturer:\n(a) Only manufactures passenger cars powered solely by one or more electric motors;\n(b) Only sells at retail new or new and used passenger cars that it manufactures; and\n(c) Was selling such passenger cars at retail in this State on or before January 1, 2016.\n2. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, a manufacturer is not subject to the provisions of NRS 482.36311 to 482.36425, inclusive, if the manufacturer:\n(a) Manufactures fully autonomous vehicles in this State that are operated exclusively by an automated driving system; and\n(b) Is selling such fully autonomous vehicles in this State to another legal entity under common control with the manufacturer.\n3. A manufacturer described in subsection 1 or 2 is subject to the provisions of NRS 482.363574.\n4.
