The driver of a vehicle:\n(a) Shall stop in obedience to the direction or traffic-control signal of a school crossing guard; and\n(b) Shall not proceed until the highway is clear of all persons, including, without limitation, the school crossing guard.\n2. A person who violates subsection 1 is guilty of a misdemeanor.\n3. If, while violating subsection 1, the driver of a motor vehicle is the proximate cause of a collision with a pedestrian or a person riding a bicycle, an electric bicycle or an electric scooter, the driver is subject to the additional penalty set forth in subsection 4 of NRS 484B.653.\n4.
