If an interpreter appointed for a person with a communications disability is not effectively or accurately communicating with or on behalf of the person with a communications disability, and that fact becomes known to the person who appointed the interpreter, another interpreter must be appointed.\n2. Unless otherwise agreed upon by the parties, a person may not be appointed as an interpreter of a person with a communications disability in a proceeding if the interpreter is:\n(a) The spouse of the person with a communications disability or related to the person; or\n(b) Otherwise interested in the outcome of the proceeding or biased for or against one of the parties.\n3.
