The Director shall appoint a State Veterinarian. The State Veterinarian is in the unclassified service of the State and serves at the pleasure of the Director.\n2. The State Veterinarian must:\n(a) Be a graduate of a veterinary school or college approved by the American Veterinary Medical Association; and\n(b) Have at least 3 years’ experience in regulating and controlling diseases in livestock.\n3.
