Any person violating any provision of this chapter or any regulation adopted pursuant thereto is subject to a civil penalty. In addition to any other penalties set forth in this chapter, the Director of the Department may assess a civil penalty not to exceed:\n(a) For the first violation, $250.\n(b) For a second violation, $500.\n(c) For each subsequent violation, $1,000.\n2.
