An employee is entitled to receive as a medical benefit a motor vehicle that is modified to allow the employee to operate the vehicle safely if:\n(a) As a result of an occupational disease arising out of and in the course of his or her employment, the employee is quadriplegic, paraplegic or has had a part of his or her body amputated; and\n(b) The employee cannot be fitted with a prosthetic device which allows the employee to operate a motor vehicle safely.\n2.
