The Board shall certify as an engineer intern or land surveyor intern any person qualified pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.\n2. A person certified as an engineer intern or land surveyor intern pursuant to subsection 1 may practice only engineering or land surveying, respectively, as a subordinate.
