The Board shall adopt regulations governing the provision of dental services through teledentistry. Those regulations must include, without limitation, requirements concerning:\n(a) The issuance of a prescription through teledentistry;\n(b) The maintenance of records concerning patients to whom services are provided through teledentistry and the protection of the privacy of such patients;\n(c) The use of teledentistry for collaboration between:\n(1) Licensees and the office of a physician, physician assistant or advanced practice registered nurse; and\n(2) Licensees who practice in different specialty areas; and\n(d) Interaction between licensees using teledentistry, including, without limitation:\n(1) The supervision of a dental therapist who has not completed the hours of clinical practice set forth in NRS 631.3122 or of a dental hygienist by a dentist using teledentistry; and\n(2) Interaction between different licensees who are providing care to the same patient.\n2.
