[Effective July 1, 2026.]","body":"1. The Board shall adopt regulations establishing a procedure to prioritize the processing of applications for the initial issuance of a license to practice osteopathic medicine submitted by an applicant who intends to practice:\n(a) Serving geographic areas and populations of this State where the shortage of providers of health care is most critical, as identified by the assessment conducted pursuant to NRS 439A.371; or\n(b) In a specialty for which the need is most critical, as identified by the assessment conducted pursuant to NRS 439A.371.\n2.
