Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to permit a chiropractic physician to practice medicine, osteopathic medicine, dentistry, optometry or podiatry, or to administer or prescribe drugs except where authorized by subsection 2.\n2. A chiropractic physician may recommend, dispense or administer any drug or device for which the prescription or order of a practitioner is not required by federal or state law.\n3.
